GIMAT Volunteers Network (GVN) is a dynamic social enterprise committed to driving development in underserved communities across Ghana. We harness the power and universal appeal of sports as a catalyst for social and economic transformation. Through this approach, we implement impactful programs focused on women’s empowerment, sports for social change, formal and informal education, and mental health and wellbeing, all aimed at creating inclusive, resilient, and empowered communities.
At GIMAT Volunteers Network, our goal is to expand economic opportunities for young people as part of our long-term sustainability strategy. We focus on empowering youth to generate and manage their own income by equipping them with practical job skills and entrepreneurial training. Through this, we create clear pathways to employability and self-reliance, ensuring that the young people we serve can thrive beyond our programs.
